Due to public demand I have introduced the following service. This Search engine optimisation report is going to give you the information you need to market your site professionally. It will remove any concerns about your site and set you on the road to successful web marketing, at a price anyone, even the smallest business can afford.
Many of you reading this will know me from the various web marketing forums I either moderate at or post at. You will know that I am straight talking, and get right to the point. This is how the report will be written. Plain english, no spiel, no technical speak.

Spiderability and Server Check
If the spiders can not read your site, then it just as well not be there. Sometimes sites especially dynamic database driven sites, are not spiderable, meaning that the spiders simply can not get at your content. I check all is well, and if it isn't will tell you how to correct it if possible.
Usability check
You know how sometimes you're at a site, and you have to look around the screen to find stuff? That is bad usability. I will check your site and give you clear details of any usability issues and advice on how to correct it.
HTACCESS & Robots.txt check/correction
Hard to believe but some sites are unknowingly actually telling the search engines to keep away, is YOURS? The HT access and robots files can prevent the search engine spiders from getting to stuff you want them to, or spider stuff you would rather they didn't. I will check your controls are correct, and if they don't exist or are wrong, I will create or correct them.
Basic keyword research with written instruction on how to complete
Keyword research is the cornerstone of successful search engine optimisation. This is the area where I normally spend a large amount of my time on a site, and this is where you can save money on my normal charge of £350 for a report. I will carry out the basic research for you, then pass it on to you with clear instruction on how to market test these keywords and identify the best words and phrases.
General Pagination of content Including Site Map
Pages need to be focused to work well in the search engines. In this section I will view your pages and give you advice on how best to present your content splitting, combining pages, or the creation of new pages etc. Too many people think a site map is a list of links, this is a mistake, and will cost them dearly. I will advise you on the use of a site map, and how best to construct it for maximum benefit.
Navigation and Structure Advice
A clear navigation structure is good not only for your visitors, but also will help the search engine algorithms get a better idea of how your site fits together. I will examine your navigation and file structure and give you the information you need to make best use.
General Copy Advice
I am not a copywriter by any stretch of the imagination, but I can tell you if you are making mistakes. Copy writing is a specialist job, and a is something you should consider as and when you can afford it. There are however basic rules you must follow to ensure you are maximising opportunities. I will look at your copy and give you this advice.
Page Descriptions & Titles
The page title is one of the top elements in determining where your site appears in the search engine results pages. The description Meta Tag is also used in some search engines, along with the keywords tag (although the keywords tag is mostly ignored by the main Search engines and totally ignored by Google). I will provide you with optimised meta tags for your pages (up to a maximum of 10 pages) and will provide you with clear instruction on how to write them for future reference.
Directory Submission Preparation
A large part of getting your site appearing close to or at the top of the results pages is links (this is the other main element to page titles). By that I mean links on pages outside your site that link to you. By far the easiest and quickest way to do this is by submitting your site to directories. I am an editor on quite a few directories, and as such can prepare for you a set of information that will maximise your chances of being accepted into directories. This includes writing title, description & keyword fields in readiness for submission, as well as providing a recommended list of free, paid, and reciprocal directories. All you will need to do is visit the directories in the list, then copy and paste the information I have given you. You can then rest assured that your site will not be rejected because of poor or misleading submission details (the most common reason why a site is rejected).
This report will give you the benefit of my experience. You can rest assured that I carry out all the work personally.
